ANN NESBY - SOULMUSIC HALL OF FAME INDUCTEE 2016 INTERVIEW
Phone interview, conducted March 30, 2016

Ann Nesby's name has been known to soul music lovers the world over since her tenure with the award-winning Sounds Of Blackness in the early '90s when tracks like "Optimistic,""The Pressure" and "Testify" lit up the airwaves on both sides of the Atlantic. Since 1996, Ann has made eight albums and garnered three Grammy nominations; has appeared in movies and stage plays; and continues to record in the soul, gospel and dance music genres.

Justifiably, she was inducted into The SoulMusic Hall Of Fame in March and David Nathan, who worked with Ann in 1991 as a media coach and has interviewed her a number of times, was delighted to speak with her on this auspicious occasion...
