First released in 1987, this album was the culmination of experience and talent. Bernard Jackson, David Conley and David Townsend (the son of Ed who worked with Marvin Gaye on “Let’s Get It On”) hooked up as composers for New Edition and Sister Sledge, before becoming performers themselves.
