First issued in 1976, this was the family group’s second album for Capitol and their last with producer Freddie Perren at the helm. Housing a pair of hit singles – “Hot Line”, the first track in, with its typical seventies’ dance feel, where all eight voices weave and blend together against the happy, striding beat. And the second – “High School Dance”, starting at a break neck speed, before transforming itself into a jerky, light funk mood. Instant dance fodder and undoubtedly a smash sound....
