Soul funk disco band.

Formed in 1968 in Brooklyn, New York
Disbanded in 1985.
Brainchild of keyboardist - singer - producer Randy Muller, they released ten albums in the decade that they remained active.
Their singles "Movin'" and "Changin" are considered seminal in the evolution of funk soul.

I'M NOT prone to making rash statements (as most readers of B&S of any long-standing will bear witness) but I am going to predict that Brass Construction is going to be the most significant new name to arrive during the bicentenary year of 1976.
